Brighton vs Chelsea | 2026 Premier League Match

 


Two sides in contrasting Premier League form meet at the Amex Stadium on Tuesday night as Brighton & Hove Albion host Chelsea. The hosts come into this clash after snatching a last-gasp equaliser away at Tottenham on Saturday evening to earn a 2-2 draw. That point has strengthened the Seagulls’ push for a European qualification spot, not to mention it means that they have lost just one of their last seven top-flight fixtures.

What’ more, a win on Tuesday night would see Fabian Hurzeler’s side leapfrog Chelsea in the Premier League table. The pressure intensified on Blues boss Liam Rosenior’s side after slumping to a 1-0 home defeat against Manchester United on Saturday night. That latest setback means the capital club have now lost each of their last four Premier League matches and, perhaps even more concerning, have failed to score in any of those defeats.
